We want to welcome each of you the the Arkansas River Valley Baptist Association.  We are committed to serving Christ through missions and ministry.  Our association is committed to providing our churches with the most comprehensive online utilities as well as forms and documents to assist in collecting information that is vital in our very day to day operation.

Arkansas River Valley Baptist Association is under the direction of Howard Kisor, Jr., who has been with us for six years. Brother Howard is committed to ensuring that each of the church's that he oversees is in line with the Bible and follow the principles and standards that are required to maintain a good faith standing with the Association.  With the world we live within today moving ever so quickly to the electronic era we are committed to joining up and brining our Association and its group of pastors to a wonderful and dynamic way of being able to communicate with each other and the world that we are looking to win to Jesus closer.

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) has developed an evangelistic strategy called "God’s Plan for Sharing" (GPS). GPS is a ten-year nationwide campaign with the goal being "Every believer sharing…Every person hearing…by 2020."

Across Arkansas  is the first component of GPS. The aim of Across North America is to mobilize congregations throughout the U.S. to sow an evangelistic witness in every household in the nation (Across Arkansas is the portion of Across North America that will take place within our state’s borders). NAMB has created resources for churches to use that are entitled "Find It Here." "Find It Here" is the name to use when communicating with the unchurched (The resources direct people to www.findithere.com and also implies they can "find it" at your church). Simply put, Across North America, Across Arkansas and Find It Here are virtually synonymous.
